nate
So my brothers tractor had trans issues so we tore into it. Was hoping to not have to use the 88series service tools I picked up a while ago but here we are. First 88 series we have been into.

nate
More junk. We decided we were this far that we would check out the range. Pulled it out and took apart synchros and they were bad. 1

Reichow7120
Looks like you have your work cut out for you. Looks expensive 😖😞
Delta88
Yeh it will be costly but what is the alternative; buying overpriced stuff at auction with unknown issues or putting in an order at a dealer for something that might not arrive to who knows when. Interesting times. Crude just hit $95 a barrel.

tractorholic
Im curious as to how many hours on that 52 and what the symptoms are that caused you to tear into it. How long has your brother owned the tractor?

How long has your brother owned the tractor? It’s over 7000. It was slipping in odds if I remember correctly. He’s owned it for around 5 years
