acem
Be sure to drain the coolant before pulling the injectiors. Sometimes the cup will pull out with the injector, filling the cylinder with coolant!Thx-Ace

Then again, someone wanting to just take an injector out, they come right out 😂😂 Good luck, good save. Sad to see stuff like this go to scrap. I drained 3 gallons of good, clean coolant out of it. That got it out of the head.

Mark Take a 5/8"? tap , cover it with grease and tap down into the cup. Sometimes it will spin just from that . Otherwise install a bolt on a slide hammer or even a bolt and washer and pry bar it out

A wad of paper in the bottom is safer than the grease.
Dax DeCelle
Thought someone might like to see what developed with this one. After a heck of a fight getting the injectors out, and sucking lots of water out, I filled the cylinders with Marvel Mystery Oil and let it soak for 3 weeks. After trying the biggest cheater I’ve ever tried, I pulled the head to find a seriously rusted situation. Won’t be firing this one up without some new liners and rings at minimum. It’ll go in a shed for now.
