I agree with NY Bill, the Hiniker wins in the visibility category. I think the red cab on the 10 was a little tighter, but it was newer too. I'd probably pick the Hiniker, but the YAR looks to be almost identical. Is it? I have both and there isn’t a dimes worth of difference!

( the final 2 can interchange with each other) a 66 series can of any form is way down on the list.

Walked in the house tonite and there was a really nice sympathy card from the vets office with this inside. Made my damn eyes water! Miss my buddy! My condolences to you Bill. It has been quite obvious to me for many years that Wrigley meant a lot to you. Jeff
INTERNATIONAL 1466
This 1466 is my favorite hands down. If I want to be in a cab I choose the 88 and the 86's. However we have had all the cabs mentioned. If I have to sit in there all day I will take the IH red cab every time, by far the tightest and least rattily. Second would be the Hiniker, with some work they can be made okay. By far my last choice is the YAR. Never had one I could stand, don't think any YAR stayed on more than a week. Really a YAR and a Hiniker are very similar like said, but I just never liked the YAR at all.
Big Bud guy
The real answer is none of them but I would take the factory one first.
lorenzo
In that era regardless of the brand the manufactures really hadn't figured everything out yet or couldnt make a cost effective version people could afford. They were always referred to as “ Ecco chambers” For the record just incase anyone is interested , a salvage yard near me has a few dozen to choose from. midnightman
Put a Hinson royal on my 4020 years ago. Fabbed new attached floor boards and rubber isolated the whole thing. Ended up pretty good for a cab of that era.
jimw
The IH factory or deluxe cab would be a easy choice. Although still fairly loud I always felt they were a tight quality. The others were just noise amplifiers. They all help keep the north wind off . To many years on a 4020 or 56 cabs have left my ears ringing. Swear they ring more just looking at those machines. Still love them thou
Qc.Can.IH man
I spent quite a few thousand hours in a 66 series deluxe cab, when I was a kid and I just wanted to drive a tractor I didn’t care how loud it was! But the 86 series cabs were a big improvement! If I ever buy a 66 series tractor in the future I would probably remove the cab, it would be a summer only tractor anyways! I have lots of other 86 series cabs to sit in when it’s cold! Lol

Still do a few hours, though they're mostly just auger and chore tractors now. Life is way better this way....
