vtfireman85
I have no connection to this, it was just sent to me and I thought it might be of interest
35desoto
It's interesting to note that it is a true IH 585 and not a Case Ih. That dates it's build to just before or during the demise of IH. The bonnet lettering changed when Case took over
1256pickett
Wow it took me a minute to realize 385 not 384.

495man
Early SIMS cab too, the one that was more common on the 74 series, not the IH "factory" SIMS cab fitted on that era of tractor.
vtfireman85
We have an international 385 with a CIH 2200 loader. It had sat on the lot, and left the dealer that way.
hobbyfarm
A unique machine with the cab. I wonder if it will be a future collectable?

Were a few IH 84 series around here wearing CIH 2200 & 2250 loaders for the same reason. Unsold IH tractor and no unsold IH loaders, in stock were CaseIH. German import, there were quite a few of those sold by IH Canada in the 70s with a 2250 loader on them. IH's first real fwa utility tractor before the 84 series had powered front axle. Had an 8 speed / 4 R trans. D179 3 cyl @ 50 PTO HP

Looks like would have originally been an Ontario, Canada tractor as that loader was made in Elmira, Ontario. I think at that time the tractor would have been taken right to Reist Welding and the loader built around it.
