sandhiller
Got a F20 with 6.00-16 on a narrow front that need replaced. I would like to go with a little wider tire. Would a 6.50-16 or 7.50-16 fit the rims? Would they rub anywhere? On the back end of a forklift with a weight box so they do carry some weight. Thank you, Jeff
12_Guy
An F-20 reversed to make a forklift?? Pics please. As for the tires, I assume the 6.50 would be fine. The 7.50 might be ok if you can get them on the rim. Sorry I’m not better help.
bitty
On Uncle George's M they have had 7.50-16 for years . Two bias ply digger truck tires might be better weigh carrying but I don't know what clearance difference is on the F series. Think it's something you want to mount to the rim while on the tractor as you have to undo it at the wheel bearing otherwise?

Need to give it a closer look. Something to think about for sure.
hardtail
Is this the first piece of construction equipment that was merely uttered yesterday? You don't even have the locomotive home yet to hide it with 😬 I will say no moss grows around your hacienda...😁

It ain't terrrible on snow and ice but I will need to chain it up if it gets any worse.
12_Guy
Round spokes all around, nice! Looks like somebody had fun building the ol girl. Like Bitty said, probably easier to mount the tires on the tractor. Probably the only easier way would be to replace the spokes with the later cast center wheels with the removable rims.

The gentleman that did the conversion did a real nice job. Well thought out and executed. The Chevy six looks like it belongs in there and all controls are easy to get to. The only thing I would like to change is the exhaust. I think it was added later as it doesn't fit the rest of the work. I would like to run it close in and up behind the hyd res to clean it up. The round spokes all around I think I will keep.

I have a personality disorder of always trying to go bigger and wider.
