Big Bud guy
So you guys that get offended what do you do when 50+ year old farmers refer to their stuff as "case". You know guys that were around when IH still existed, guys that ran true IH equipment back in the day, guys that should know better as opposed to todays generation. Lot of those guys around here, Just the other day I had a neighbor over so we could do our year end pasture rent payment. He grew up on IH tractors and always had some IH stuff or IH influenced stuff. I can ask him right now what combines he has and he would say "case" 8230 and 1688. SDman is right on this. **** we refer to our TD 14A as the "cat".

AGCO owned MF , FENDT, Valtra , Gleaner and Challenger. But they keep there own design. Valtra still made tractors at it,s original plant in Finland. Fendt in Marktoberdorf. Massey in France. They combined there Hardware. But own Identify. Like design. I,m still a BIG IH LOVER. But since Tenneco, nothing whit the Case-IH brand. Farming Enthusiast
I think the people that call them Case, say it that way because it's easier than saying CaseIH and don't care enough to say it right. People who were/are loyal to IH say it right because they have pride in it. You have guys who aren't brand loyal that don't care what they call it and JD guys that definitely don't care
401 N Michigan
I call anything red IH, to this day. I talked to a farmer that I didn’t know but I “knew of him” and asked him what number his combine was he said a case 1440. I told him that was no Case....his response was well....that’s what they call them....

We farm with Internationals, never call anything "Case". It will always be International to us, are we brand loyal, yes. Do we buy new CaseIH stuff absolutely, but our signage and hats all only wear the IH. And I agree, if some one asks, we farm with IH.
