I bet i have enough to supply a wood shop or school lol. Though a lot of my tools are for rougher work like timber framing and log building.

I wonder who has those planes from your yesteryear? Hard to beat most old or older tools....quality meant something.

I have a strange fascination with someday building affordable or free spruce coffins.. i have a saw mill and produce most of my own lumber and it just hit me one day to give back even if its in somebodys end..

before going full out at this noble task,? dont believe it is allowed

no $$$ profit for mathews etal, etc so it is not PC

most areas have strict rules of being air and water tight with large internal locks ,and 2-3 total containers which last 50 x > yrs

Not politically correct?

I do agree there may be some red tape but unethical?

That said i dont believe there are regulations here unless u are going to the cemetery in town. There is a rural cemetery out where im at and im pretty sure there are a few spruce boxes in the ground.

We finished the family gatherings for the holidays last evening. My kids gave me this tool. I love my adult kids and their kids too.

The Wire Twist Tool is powered by a drill and 5/16” hex bit that is cleverly stored in the handle when not in use. Compact and professional tool for contractors and fence builders. Capable of twisting tough 200 KSI High Tensile wire with ease. Solid stainless-steel construction is built for a lifetime of service.

Does not work with 2"x4" spacing woven wire. Use with 3" minimum woven wire spacing.

I did read once that there are boatloads of burial rules, at least in NY, that make a home burial or a "green" burial all but impossible within the "rules". Rules about containers, embalming, plugging orifices, etc etc etc. That was what sealed my opinion about cremation. I don't really care to have my unoccupied corpse preserved. In fact, quite the opposite. I wouldn't mind a pine box, but as I said, I think that's "hagainst the ruuules" (say it like in Slapshot) in NY.

Since that was a bit morbid, here's the clip, for levity.

I bought myself a plasma cutter capable of cutting 1 1/2” steel plate, I can’t wait to get that set up and try it!

I also got a dash cam, because I got a new girlfriend just before Christmas she said that we wouldn’t have to buy each other gifts because we don’t know each other that well, I said why don’t we buy ourselves gifts and put mine from her and hers from me. She bought herself ice skates so we could go skating this winter.

Those plasma cutters are the best thing since sliced bread  and they'll all but put your cutting torch in the retirement home. What brand did you get?

 I agree!

This is my second plasma cutter, my first one could cut 3/4” steel plate, but not very well.
The new one is a Pro Point, same as my first one sold exclusively at Princess Auto. I haven’t set it up yet, it needs to be hardwired into the electric  panel. It’s also CNC table compatible.

I'm not familiar with that brand but please let us or me  know how it works out for you. I use one extensively at work on stainless and will be looking for one for the house this year when I get started on putting up a shed for equipment and a shop. The one I use at work is a Miller and it does fine but I want one at home because I am tired of the acetylene prices going up. What voltage do you have to run the model that you just got?

Pro point is a in-house brand of princess auto in Canada, I have heard that they are very similar to harbor freight in the US.

This was the first one I bought a year or so ago, it’s a really nice size for a small shop it does a really nice job cutting up to half inch steel.

This is the one I just purchased on sale a month or so ago. It may be a month or two before I get it set up, I have a project that I will be doing and I will need it, I have some 1 inch plate that I will be cutting and I’m anxious to see how good of a job it does.
