I have this one, it had the Pom Pom until I regrettably cut it off in the mid 90s, if I remember this Christmas at Mom’s I’ll get the pic of me wearing it around 1989, can see the fade on it from sitting in a window sill, it’s still in use when I loose all my other toques

Was bringing home some stuff from moms as she is condensing a bit.

Most of it isn't red (sorry we were a multi colored farm and so were my toys.) The 1456 was given to me by my grandparents,  I think for a birthday. I had forgotten about the plastic removable suitcase weights until I saw the bent weight bracket when taking these pics.

The xt I saved up for to buy myself as dad had one I ran a lot in later years. It had a du-al loader on it a lot of the time. I wanted to duplicate it but couldn't find a loader for it at the time. When the salesman at the dealer found out what I was up to and that dad had bought several tractors there he gave me the model tractor. Talk about a happy kid.

The 5020 I'm not really sure when I got it but I was pretty young, most likely for Christmas one year. The 404 or 504 has been around about as long as I can recall. I think 1 of moms aunts gave it to me when she came to visit.

The barn I'm pretty sure was another early Christmas and I was pretty small as dad says he turned around and I was gone. Yup I crawled right inside the barn, I was too little to reach the center with my toys. It is a pretty close resemblance to a pole barn we had on what the folks called the south place. Last I knew it was still there tho in sad shape.

So there are. Few blasts from Christmas and other occasions past.

I had that 5020 as my big tractor when I was carpet farming. I pulled it so hard that a new hitch was crafted at some point... My uncle was a JD mechanic so that is where my green came from.

That’s an awesome bunch of toys! My dad also has that 1456 and he got it restored a number of years ago. I have a picture from Christmas Day 1971 taken at his grandparents house of that tractor under the tree. He was about a year and a half old.

Christmas Day 2001 I got a 756 with a Hiniker cab and I also still have it this day….. almost looks brand new, all original. I was nine months old at the time. Toys are a lot of fun.

I had one of those 5020s as well and my hitch was broken also. It was kind of an odd tractor if I remember correctly, it seemed bigger than everything else I had.

It’s funny that you made this post as my dad gave me my lunch box today.
