IH 404 Differential Lock

I didn't know that was available. 404 is the last in the lineage of the C tractor series

Had a 424 Utility growing up that had a differential lock that you had to hold down with your right heel, it did not lock.

The pedal was just a teeter-totter lever that pushed a round shaft in to lock the differential.  It would stay locked in under load, but as soon as the differential torque was relieved it would release.  Not always a handy feature when scooping snow.
