TD 6 injector lines swap.

I have a 43 and a 53 IHC TD6. Had the injectors of the 53 (checked out), cleaned and metered. I Installed them in my 43 head that starts on gas. The steel line tubes are different on the ends and how they seal. Can I unscrew/remove the threaded adaptor parts on the High pressure injector pump and swap with the 53's. The 43 has tapered and smaller collars. The 53 drops into both the injector and pump with a squared off tube and welded shoulder that the jam nut tightens on,  and the line fittings came of the 53. IF I REMOVE THE FITTINGS ON THE PUMP TO SWAP THEM OUT, are parts , springs and stuff liable to fly out. Tractor is on my trailer out in the dirt, at a friends ranch.???????     Ordered all 3 Jensales manuals today, but am anxious to see if it will run on diesel, do not want to watt until the new year for the manuals.

Not sure as to what the different types look like. The one on the tractor is plain top and bottom no pressure gage.     The injectors came off the 53 with an A on the pump. The lines are also from the 53, and will match up with pump and injector fittings, once I swap out the pump side screw in fittings. The A pump has a pressure gage.

And I forgot to thank you for the quick reply. Thank you RustRed

sounds like american bosch vs IH they are not interchangeable inter/mix, each system is to itself unless silver solder appropriate ends for mix /match

save the wait for incomplete to no answer, cancel your over priced j scam 900th generation poor copies they are worse the

Took me a couple times through to process mmi's last sentence, but I agree.

Don't buy from Jensales. Their manuals are poor quality photocopies of photocopies of photocopies. We bought one for our Super M years ago, from the picture expecting something that looked like the original manual. What came was a stack of copier paper bound with one of those plastic finger deals, badly faded. That was probably close to 30 years ago now. I can't imagine how much the copies have degraded since...

There are outfits out there that produce a manual that resembles the original manual. Try Binder Books instead.

Mr. Rustred, that is not the pump that I have. Mine bolts through from the front of the block, must remove 3 cap screws through slots in the pump gear and a nutted stud and a cap screw from inside to remove the pump. I do not know how to post pictures or I would. 53 pump # 65306DA201 serial 63376 Large A cast into inspection cover.

43 injection pump 65306D1 serial 3556.

Tractor original serial number TDBK9533T7CM, very late 1943.    Hope this helps

Go to peacefulcreek.com and get your manuals, much better quality!! If you can’t find them there, email them, and he’ll print them for you!!

I just got a parts manual for my 770 Oliver tractor from Peacefullcreek. Very disappointed, poor quality. I have several JenSales manuals for a 44, 44Special, and 444 Massey Harris and they are better than what I got for the Oliver.

Did you contact them? Contact them if you haven’t and let them know the problem.  Hopefully they’ll help you out!
It’s the opposite for me, the 2 manuals I got from peaceful creek are great, the one from Jensales is not so great.

Large A is the IH pump, is the other pump similar in shape?

Other pump is same just plain cover , NO     IH or  A, . While we are talking, why are all the pictures unavailable from back in the early 2000's ? I just got started on crawlers and could use the photos.

Are they your pics or others?

Unless I am searching an author I know had pics it is easier to search redpower externally using Google

Don't think any pics are here past around 2008
