Dresser 165c crawler loader

Recommended Posts

I don't know much, but I think they were made in Europe. Some one was on this site quite awhile ago that had one of these, perhaps you could search for the thread.

I got it to spin over and run briefly on ether today, I need to replace the 4 hydraulic hoses before I see if it will move under its own power. Then I will get it transported to my house.  Also gotta find the inner and outer air filter and fuel filter. It's a 1976 model, and according to the other thread the engine is a D-310.  This is the only website on the internet that has anything about these models.  Says very few were in the US and mostly sold in UK

nice save for a weekend toy ,looks low use mirror light, intact but..... parked and raised for a reason....

anything more..by your own research if it is not 75% or better let it set until you find 2 more for unobtainium  parts

dont expect that cheap chain to hold the loader, and may just jack the rops at weakest point

That was Internationals last new crawler loader before the line was sold to dresser so even though it doesn't have the correct decals on it it still looks pretty straight and not abused. They were imported from Great Britain in the late 70s parts are tough to find for the standard crawler loader range so I can only guess they would be more difficult to find for that particular model. Your best bet as far as Parts go would be to find a parts machine but due to the Rarity of that model it could prove to be difficult
