cedar farm
On the 460-686 filters, I even found out the Fleetguard filter flowed better than the CIH branded filter. The fleetguard was all holes around the edges as the CIH had solid paper around the middle for their logo.

Said they had both styles in stock so I ordered one of each. sorry Ed. I hadn’t seen. Your post or I would have checked with you. Its all good, Thanks for the vote of confidence! But, I can't buy the raw steel here for that price, let us know how you like them. I will most likely send people their way. Or just stock theirs and price where its worth doing, if they are likeable. Allied couldn't keep them on the shelf at $70 or so back when they were building them and said they couldn't afford to build them unless things were slow. We priced them up a fair amount and still sold out faster than they could build them. Thanks ed
Matt Kirsch
Anybody ever knocked one of these off, like in deep mud or in the brush? So many tractors have bent steps, and these are right in the firing line, and are way less robust than steps...

Corn stalk stacks & round bale feeders, the mud would get pretty deep around the feeders! They are much solider than they look, way more so then steps. Its a pretty heavy piece of turned aluminum. Also rounded, so not easy to catch. It would take a sledge hammer to knock one off, and then it would probably break the bolts or the housing base on the tranny, not the extension. When you say "both styles" you mean w & w/o the filters, or do you mean they have one for the 06-86, and one for another tractor model (like my 666)?? dannyredfan
The 15s. Need a 3” one. And uses a different filter because the planetary gear housing is i the way. And yes you can get either with or without filters

They are NOT for sale but I will build some to match what they produced. PM me or e/mail so I do this correctly. Dont' want to be breaking rules here! As for the 656 style, we know what to do and are thinking of doing them, But I want some commitments so we can build for volume and lower prices. PM me about them. If anyone else has extensions of either style being built, be happy to buy from you, would like to hear a price. We have plenty to do and don't need any extra small projects right now. ed On 12/13/2021 at 5:59 PM, Ed Leaman said: If you all are seriously interested in the ones for the big frame tractors let me know, I have 2 new allied kits here. The one I have isn't aluminum, it's magnetic for sure. Apparently there are different versions? Travis
Jeff-C-IL
I could be wrong, it might have been anodized steel. Been a long time!
