from H to 80
I don't watch much TV ,usually just local news and weather, but several of my friends were bragging about this series called "yellowstone" so my wife bought it for me. It is addictive, i'm four years behind only on first season, those boys don't tolerate any ,shall i say, outside interference with their ranch. I am afraid to get too involved, i already have a desire to purchase a black Stetson, dark glasses and a long rope. 2

Pete1468
It's very entertaining, don't mess with Rip! It's the Monday talk at work.
Loadstar
Excellent series! I sometimes refer to it as The Sopranos on horseback. 🙂

twostepn2001
l've only seen a couple of the first episodes but just in episodes 1 and 2, that one guy shot 2 or 3 others, saved a girl in a van and a young boy killed a huge rattlesnake in a culvert bare handed. Taylor Sheridan, the producer of Yellowstone is part of a group that bought the 6666's ranch at Guthrie, Texas and is planning on making a series similar to Yellowstone there. That will be one l'll watch if he does.
Sledgehammer
It is a well written series in my opinion. Lots of characters to expand on.
Red Flyer
Most of the series is filmed here in the Bitterroot Valley. The barn and ranch house are just south of Darby. Other scenes have been filmed in Hamilton and Missoula and I see the Yellowstone trucks in my town (Stevensville) on occasion . Down side is that it has attracted to many people to the area and real estate prices are just getting stupid. I enjoy watching it as well. 9
hardtail
Feel sorry for the focus on your area, we used to go yearly to Montana in the 90's and it seemed interest was growing then, imagine it's gotten much worse now
B.B.
"that wasn't a move, I'm just meaner than you are" LOL Love the show myself and I think all of us wish we could act a little more like Rip, and not put up with BS! And not to ruin it for anyone but if I ever get approached by a person shaking a small igloo cooler at me you can bet I'll run like a scared mouse! 2

nepoweshiekfarmalls
They had me at Kevin Costner! Fills a hole left when Longmire ended.
FarmallFan
I don't have cable but I found that Amazon sells a season pass for $20 per season to stream it. New episodes are available on Monday's after it's aired on Paramount. Last summer I bought the first three seasons, the show is addictive that's for sure. I didn't get to watch the latest episode last night, I will be watching this evening for sure.

We also got the Amazon season pass; best $20 we ever spent I can just tell ya! It's a great show, language is a bit rough and there are some aspects that are over-done, but on the whole my wife and I really enjoy it. Put it this way: don't come to the house or call either of us on Monday night; that's Yellowstone Night! Mac
jass1660
Some of the ranchhands are real cowboys. The one that plays Lloyd was a rodeo guy Jake is a real life horse trainer/dealer
oleman
I see it as a remake of the old DALLAS series moved to the North West. AND since it is/was made for cable, they get away with a lot of situations that mainstream networks could not chance. Sort of predictable and trait but entertaining. The Halmark Channel for non-feminists.
495man
Amazon Prime has it all, I have amazon for prime shipping, the "free TV" is actually worth more than the "free shipping" really.

Oh yea the Four Sixes is gonna figure into it quite a bit, I think. Of course, Taylor Sheridan also plays Travis in the show and has some most excellent cutting horses. If I understand correctly, the horses in the show belong to him. Don't quote me on that, though. Mac

Sledgehammer
Walker (Ryan Bingham) the cowboy is a country singer and a few of his songs have been in the show. They find some out of the way artists and feature their stuff on there from time to time. Guys like Colter Wall have been on this season some. It’s refreshing to see that vs the new age music that radio features. Ive seen snakes while fly fishing but never like that.... I will say I like his vest though as I have the same one 😊

Ignore media, I don't have traditional TV, never even heard of the show, this video popped on up youtube and had to check the show out when it showed up on Prime.
