Back in the old country we had Swiss made rollover or two way plows made by the OTT bro company, the best new plows on the market that are like that are Poettinger and Kerveland and Kuhn too

I’ve only ever used rollover plows and currently have an IH 145 that I use to plow alfalfa under although I’m working my way more towards no till where I can.

Besides leaving a dead furrow I always thought it looked like a person would waste a lot of time driving around without the plow in the ground with a one way plow.

Usually one cultimultcher pass with the teeth all the way buried leaves a nice seedbed here but sometimes it needs two passes depending on what kind of slabs I pull up.

No pictures of the plow on this phone but here is one of the cultimulcher. With the teeth buried in plowed ground it makes my 5488 sweat at 7-8 mph.

I met you & Mel at Union Grove RPRU. If I remember correctly Mel is more into track layers/machines.

That plow owner recently bought it & was trying to dial it in, but he was still trying to adjust  through the years of neglect that  accumulated...

Yes , I remember great visit !  Thanks for reminder .

Yes Mel's main interest is I.H. crawlers but he also dabbles in I.H. orchard tractors and old #39 plow and one I.H. 55W baler among others .

I got him to spill the beans. He is tuning on a WD-6 for the plow day. Waiting on fuel filters now he said.

Oliver plows have a great reputation, don't know a thing about their roll-overs though.

I grew up with Oliver roll-over plows very nice plow but you want a trip plow if you have rocks or you could end up with a bent plow look it over really good before you buy I take a long straight edge and make sure none of the beams are bent

This is quite a unique plow. It was made for the days of the D6 7 and 8 Cat. If you look close the roll over design is just extra large one as compared to a 642 IH mechanism https://www.bigiron.com/Lots/AtlasSD416SpinnerPlow
