New Englander
The FAA sends me all sorts of stuff. This is just a cautionary video that may apply to operating any machinery. I've no personal experience.

Wife think it's ok for the elderly who just want to be pain free. Me, nothing agin it but I'll find other ways if I need to manage a little pain. I take it that you might as well smoke or make brownies out of the REAL stuff. And this "expert advice" was coming from probably the single largest group of consumers of the REAL thing. I know less then you about this. And haven't watched the video yet. But there is a big difference between, cough syrup and ever clear. Both have alcohol Now I have watched the video. I still think it's about the same.
acem
My wife maintains her LPN. The Arkansas board of nursing issued a warning in their magazine. The use of CBD is legal. However some people have been testing positive for THC after taking CBD and if you test positive for THC you lose your license. They recommend not taking CBD due to this risk. The problem seems to be poor quality control of the CBD companies. Imagine that, dopers having poor quality control... Thx-Ace
Dasnake
Because of all the chronic crap in my life and pain lifestyle some people told me to try this crap, mom and I both went and tried four different styles and % based amounts, not a bloody thing, a three month period, nada, just went back to aspirin based T1. Congrats on the open minded approach Made the decision to try, made the decision its not working, walked away I notice your not claiming it made you an out of control flunky living on the streets unable to decipher good from bad, right from wrong, left from right. Delta Dirt
I am 78+ yrs old-------always active and always noted for my high pain thresh hold. But have absolutely been ground to a standstill due to back, hip and shoulder pains. All reports come back severe arthritus. Don't know where the answer is -------BUT I am using Hempvana with a self added mixture of cabannis oil to the original Hempvana cream on my back, hip and one shoulder. In addition to a prescribed painkiller medicine from the doctor. The local drug store sells the oil. I have been in so much pain that I asked my doctor about it. He said that I could pour the oil onto my pain areas and not worry about adverse effects--------also saying it might help or might not. He didn't see any problem-------go for it and see what happens. My "unscientific" mixture definitely helps smother back the excruciating pain for 4 hrs or so-------and has enabled me to cut back on the prescribed pain killer (for what the doctor is concerned for longterm use). Needless to say I am not flying an airplane nor driving a semi-------so I can't advise if it will show up in a blood or pee test. I 've got a basket full of other health issues (heart, etc)-----so just trying to grab a life preserver to lighten the load and keep on living a few more days or years!!! This has helped but not cured the problem. Never say Never-------until you have been there and worn the pants. I have always been clean on drugs------never smoked a joint in my life. Getting old ain't no fun!!!!! Getting older can be a major ordeal!!
jass1660
If you want the true pain relief it’s reported that the thc from marijuana is the real pain reliever, cbd has to be high quality and used long term to achieve the same affect. CBD comes from hemp and doesn’t give any high.

iowaboy1965
I dont know how effective the or cub is but a few years ago my shoulder was bothering me for probably 6 months. Enough so that I can see that long term chronic pain can wear on a person. Thankfully my shoulder got better but it was a bit of an eye opener for me as far as those suffering long term pain. If your in enough pain I imagine anything that will help starts to look good. Now if something impairs or slows mental function, then for safety sake certain activities should be avoided. Raildudes dad
I've had 5 spine surgeries in 6 years, I have chronic pain from my rt L5 nerve. I've tried CBD oil from a local reputable supplier. Nothing. Now a friend of mine gave me a gummy and had me eat 1/6 piece for 6 nights. 1st night after supper i ate the piece. Within 10 minutes everything was really great LOL. I told my Dr I was trying CBD oil becasue my rt hip and ankle feel like they are broke (like right now:( ) The gal that cuts my hair drives school bus, takes CBD oil and has no problem passing the drug screen. I've been taking tramadol for years 2-4 a day. It takes the edge off, that's about all. Fortunately i can lay down and fall asleep. In 2019 MI made it a regulated pain killer so I have to pee in a cup to renew my prescription. So I get the test results back. I'm positive for THC. For the pain med test they test for a far lower detection revel of the THC than a cdl drug test. I also tested positive for morphine. I really scratch my head over that one. Finally it dawns on me, I have a salad everyday for lunch w/ 2 oz of dressing. Well 2 oz of poppy seed dressing 2-3 times a week will test you positive for morphine at the detection levels they use. I'm currently being evaluated for a spinal stimulator. It's like a pacemaker only for an irritated nerve rather than the heart. It electrically stimulates the nerve into thinking it doesn't feel pain. I sure hope I can can try it and it works.
