IHC5488
Nice finds!!! Do you ever find a quick hitch for the 88s in you adventures? You always seem to have one in the back of the truck in your travels. Matt

Long Farms
Matt, ive never kicked up a black square tube one for 88s. Seen a few late 86s red square tubes but never chased after them.
INTERNATIONAL 1466
The late 86 red one and the 88's are the same hitch, correct?

ihrondiesel
Would these be the same one that came on a 9230? They look very similar.
ihrondiesel
Looking again, the only difference is see is that the ones pictured above have a bolt flag welded to the pin, the one I have from a 9230 has a machined slot in the pin and a separate steel square with a bolt hole, the edge of the square fits the pin slot
Dmnstr8r
Must be a good week to find them. I had to break this down into more manageable pieces. No he-man here I guess, and the local store doesn't stock new sphincter seals.

Depends where you are and if they know what they have. The big hitch like Long shows, will average $1000 if the seller knows what he has or if it were on auction. Once in a while you find a sleeper and can steel it. We snatched one for $15 at auction. never say never!
jass1660
We had a black one that said caseih the dealer left on a tractor after service. We had no use for it so it laid there and went to scrap man eventually.

Two others I've watched sell online are shown. The one I picked up was only a fraction, so they are still out there.
Jeff-C-IL
OK, yeah, got one of those.I think this is what the called a category 2/3? Its the category 3 width...although the pins are bigger as well so maybe its a straight 3. Dad used to have it on the 1066 - stack mover, etc. Its too big for any of the stuff I currently use, I need another category 2 so I don't have to "swap" the one I got from the 666 to the 7410 & back. I suppose if I ever wanted to plow again, that might be right.
