Sledgehammer
He would be 100% dead around here. Seen them anywhere from all black to almost completely white. Personally not a fan of having them around.

Craig61019
Maybe they are getting more white because of global warming or infected by COVID 😎

A fellow stated that if you picked a skunk up by the hind legs it could not spray you. I reason that it has something to do with not being able to push its front legs against its back legs to pressurize its spray. The above referenced fellow demonstrated his technique by catching a skunk, carrying it across campus, and tossing it it through the doorway of the girls dormitory. I may have held one of the double doors open while another lad may have held the other door open. Said skunk went sliding down the tiled floor until it ended and the carpet began. When the skunk hit the carpet it FINALLY regained traction and mayhem ensued!!! 1
red2thebone sr
Neighbor kids “had” a pet skunk we didn’t know about until they came looking for it. In shed putting new rasp bars on combine one night when Dad hollered SKUNK. Dang thing would follow you around. We figured rabid. Last thing it did as it caught a 12 gauge load was spray.
vtfireman85
Benjie sprayed twice, once when the wind caught the screen door and sent him tumbling, and once when grandpa stepped on him in the garden. I think the second time was more of a matter if it squirting out accidentally.
TomH
When I was a kid I had a friend in school that had a descented pet skunk. As I recall he or she was a friendly little fur ball.

oleman
Napa County California was over run by the little stinkers at times. They seemed to be like rabbits and would naturally die off in cycles. Every morning when I got up for work they would be stinking up the place because they came across a family cat or dog as they prowled the neighbor hoods looking for food. THEIR MAJOR DOWNSIDE IS THAT THEY CAN CARRY RABIES WITHOUT SHOWING SYMPTOMS AND SHOULD NEVER BE CONTACTED BY HUMANS. If you kill one do not have contact with it!! yellowrosefarm
We have an all white one that has been sighted around my work shop for the last 5 years or so. Last year she was seen with several all white little ones in tow. I've caught a few in the hav a heart trap, but so far, haven't been sprayed when releasing them. I killed one that was obviously sick. It looked terrible and was walking in circles. Mr. Shovel cleaned that one up.
