Why won't anybody make a W4 and W6 model?? Spec Cast would be nice, at least it would be more affordable than Ertl. All toy companies have re-badged every other casting to death. Isn't it about time for something new?

This has been discussed in a few farm toy groups l'm in on Facebook. Seems like a lot of collectors (especially younger ones) just don't have a lot of interest in the older models of tractors. Another thing that manufacturers like Ertl and SpecCast don't take much interest in is cotton harvesting equipment. They claim there isn't enough interest.

I have wondered that myself.  Spec Cast flooded the market with 400/450 standards.   The W4, W6 models would be nice.  If we want them, make our voices heard.   If you attend the National Farm Toy Show, visit with the manufacturers.

Coleman Wheatly, (C & M farm toys) made a w-4 back in the early 90's. Once in a while one will show up for sale.

I got lucky and found this (C&M) 1/16th scale W4 on ebay a few years ago but it didn't come with the box.

A 1/16 scale W6 would be cool to go with it , then we would have a 1/16th scale model of all our small collection of full size tractors.

Universal hobbies did make a 1/43 scale W6 but a 1/16 scale would be so much better.
