What are your thoughts on participation/entries and how was the crowd?

Well attended?

And I wonder if Bill [Brady Boy] made it back the 2000 miles!

And of course I know Pete1468 wasn`t there [big plus]

@Brady Boy was heading to Tennessee to visit family after the show. As for the crowd, Friday had a lot more people than Thursday. I left Saturday morning so I don't know how many people were there that day.

Don't know about Red Power but son and I went to Good Guys at the fair grounds Sunday. I was told one local estimated half there on Sunday compared to Saturday.  Might be but was more people and cars than I expected being the last day. My thought was folks are ready to get back to more normal and have some fun. Last year was a long year for many.

It was large and spread out. I saw three masks the entire time. People were kind (other than the horse people) and courteous. It was well organized and well attended in my opinion.

It was well attended I believe though it may not seem that way because it is so spread out. Too spread out in my opinion.

Our Chapter 7 Indiana table did better than the last several RPRU’s. This is partially due to Billy Steers aka Tractor Mac not being able to be there. We sold out of several titles of his books.

I  was surprised by how many people were still around on Saturday morning.  BK.

I think that the rain hurt the attendance Thursday morning. Friday was a good turnout, but I wasn’t there Saturday either, to compare. I don’t think that it was too spread out. The tractors were parked in rows wide enough to accommodate several golf carts/side by sides and still have room for people that were walking. Not as many venders as previous years, but several local guys brought a few trailer loads of parts, that wouldn’t have traveled to another state.

Thursday afternoon was HOT......Friday was excellent attendance and weather.   We left around 1:00 Saturday and there was still a fair crowd, but nothing like Friday.

Inside/outside vendors seemed a bit down, but also expected after the year we've all had.

Several bigger parts guys reported very good sales.

Excellent venue for the show.

I know several that weren't able to make it due to wheat harvest myself included. Glad to be done with wheat but was kind of hoping we would have gotten the big rains earlier in the week they were calling for so we could have come down on the rain days. A couple guys I work for were wanting to bring a couple loads of tractors down but had too much going on. Really wished it would have been a couple weeks later. Middle to end of July probably would have gotten more locals to attend.

Compare '21 RPRU to '12 RPRU same show same location the tractor count and vendors was only a fraction of what it was 9 years ago. Different world now and older collectors aged 9 years more or even passed away. The spacing of the tractors was great to walk around and get good pics of. The golf cart rental company was crap. Didnt bring any extra golf carts, all were prepaid and spoken for and if the person never showed up to get their cart the company never rented them back out to someone at the show. Why would they, they already got their $. Food vendors were pretty good.

If anyone entered the fairgrounds through the exhibitor gate on Thursday or Friday morning, you probably saw me. We had concerns about the golf cart registration before the show, but that company has the contract for the grounds and there was nothing we could do. Overall, I think it was a good show. I know I'm going to enjoy next year's show. A bonus was when on Thursday evening my wife said she found a tractor that she would like to have someday. It was a 504 utility. Oh well, gotta keep the wife happy.

My opinions are similar to others.  The rain dampened the crowd on Thursday, but indoor vendors told me that sales were good!  Number of vendors and exhibits were down,  but respectable for a holiday weekend.   Friday was really busy,  nice crowd.  Saturday,  saw exhibits leaving all day, but still plenty of people in attendance.   I loaded up after the National meeting and it was really empty at 3:30. It was wonderful to see many forum members in attendance.   My wife really enjoyed herself, which is a very good thing!

Good Show. Nice grounds to have it.  Attendance and vendors looked down from previous years. I'm sure Covid effect yet, plus holiday weekend, higher gas prices and the big thing is less collectors as time goes on.  We were hoping for more parts vendors.  We were discussing if the show in another 10 years can still be a stand alone show.

I enjoyed it (my 3rd RPRU) but like others thought it was a little spread out and less vendors than the other RPRUs I've attended. In seeing pictures posted by other I missed quite a few things, but overall seemed like a good show. Got to the grounds Thursday morning during the downpour which made things a little miserable for a bit. Friday was absolutely a perfect day. Didn't go Saturday as we left out from Carbondale about 8 am and drove all the way back to Tx.
