Just wondering if any of RPRU committee people visit here ?
sure seems quite , usually there is some sort of count down , talk of forum members meetings , etc.

Is anyone from here going ?

we plan on leaving Monday 21st for our 2,021 miles trek by ground to DuQuione.
looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones from our RP forum .

our last RPRU show was Alabama , had plans of five of us from out here taking equipment to Huron but when they changed date because of covid , it threw us all off because it was  harvest time out here on new dates .

looking forward to seeing lot of Red

I will be there.  Going to bring a camper down Wednesday night after work. It’s about 2-2.5hrs for me. Wife and little guy will there for a day or two.  I’m looking forward to the show.

I looked over the website and it doesn’t look like there are camper reservations because of so many sites available they don’t feel they will need reservations.

Well, things changed for me.

Originally we weren't going to attend because the wife wanted to go up North. Then originally governor idiot looked like she was going to ruin the 4th here in the People's Republic of Michigan with her Covid rules pre CDC rule change. Wife got ornery and said no way our son was going to miss out on his first 4th of July. So she started looking at things in Indiana. I made a comment about Red Power being in Illinois. Mostly as a joke. Next thing I know, she's got a house rented within reasonable distance of the show to stay at a couple of days. And we're going.

Wife and I have motel reservations. Planning on showing the 666 diesel. Looking forward to seeing many of you at the daily forum meet and greet.

Sledge,  are you going to show the 686? Would be fun to park the 666 next to you!?

Too many things going on this year financially for me to be able to make the trip (as much as I'd like to) also too many unknows with the world still uneasy about covid.

Really hoping to make 2022.  Been looking forward to that one for some time.  Hoping to make some closer shows this year.

I wasn’t planning on it because I would have to make multiple trips.

Yes

Todd ....... I made 7 trips down and back to Bloomsburg in 2019 in 6 days (1 1/2) hours from home . 5 of those trips had a trailer or camper . It's doable.

I wish I could be there but I can't make it this year. Hopefully next year

Ya', especially when the 4" hose slips off the dump valve and you're kneeling down to open it. Don't ask how I know!

All the times I've dumped I've been lucky doing that but my only problem was in jersey city and no sewers except a dump station, unhooked everything pulled the slides in and drove around the park to lineup to the dump, as I'm slowly moving up to the station a lady screams, not yell but full on scream, I stop and ask what, she points to the roof, I get out and the antenna was already touching the overhead power lines, coulda been pricey, rip a hole in the camper and insurance costs for down power lines, learned another lesson.

I understand.  I’m already taking off work to make it down there when I am and can’t really do an extra day to haul things back and forth.  Work schedule won’t really allow it.

I wasn’t planning to go, but was searching the hotels close by and found a room! So I’m going. I wonder if @2+2 Guy would want to come along? ?

Planning on going. Was told that camping is only 30 amp and water. No sewer.  Supposedly a dump station but those are a pita.

Sounds like Alabama ! A friend of ours can fix that pretty quickly .

I can't make it to the RPRU but I am going to Fresno to pick up half a 1926 Buick Roadster!

I was hoping to drive thru Tony's Almond farm and steal  a pick up load of Almonds!  lol

I hope he doesn't have any long rifles, or he is out of powder or balls.
