This is a 1466 that is for sale near me. I know you guys are always interested in cab, open station, rops, but I have not seen one like this in your conversations. Is this a factory option, or was this after market? Just curious.

Yep, like Dan said, it's a factory 4-post ROPS....those became the factory option around '75, if I remember correctly.

Not uncommon in the south. I've seen alot of them.

The 2 post rops looks better to me but the 4 post is safer?  It would protect you from a round bale rolling back onto the tractor.

Lots of them at my work.  Not super popular with IH Collectors. Everyone wants the 2 post.  They are really stout. My 826 had one on it, but I pulled it off.

They are harder to climb on as the front post restricts your space

We had one for a bit but it's gone now. I will add these are definitely better than no rops as it's a certified rops and the canopy keeps shade available also

I’ve never seen one in NY.

whats that decal/stripe there?

The decal/stripe seems to be a bad attempt at a repaint while adding the late 86 series tri-stripe....

I hated them, Just another thing to remove splitting the tractor for repairs

The front legs unbolt about a foot above the mounting at the clutch housing. That helps a little bit.
