Kingsburg , Ca. Car show ! Little Binder love !

Recommended Posts

4/17/21 Kingsburg , Ca . A little farm Swedish town held its 26th annual Car Show.

great weather, big turn out , people ready to get out and get back to normal , they said largest attendance ever and approx . 300 cars.

i was blown away when they call the 1966 International pick up , Best Of Show !

I had fight back wet eyes receiving that huge award.
so gratified and honored .

I hear the same thing over and over , “Never Seen A International given same treatment as other at a car show”

few pictures of day

our local branch of Edge& ta branch 8 had a display at car show also and well received .

Good for you Tony!  All that detail is noticed by others also. Might have to haul the trophy home on the flatbed. That’s some serious hardware....😁

About 10% had masks everyone else ready to get back to normal !
most have had second shot and ready to leave Covid behind.

Like they say if wife takes birth control pill do you still wear a condom ? Lol

Tony----I saw a pick-up of the same vintage and size on a trailer today...Hopefully headed to a shop, and not the scrapper....

(It was ugly green, not purty red)

Seems the climate is to dry and dusty for those sorts, in the San Joaquin Valley.  They seem to congregate nearer salt water. 😉 Makes me think salt is part of the problem.😵

Congratulations on the win Tony.

Congratulations on the win Tony.

Mike  Newman,

Ray54 is pretty spot on in his assessment !
We  San Joaquin  Valley farm communities folks are rednecks who like to waist water to irrigate crops , who love fossil fuels to power our tractors , trucks , and vintage vehicles. Love smoke , dirt and grease, Don’t you know ? Lol.

groups like at show make me realize there are still sane people in Cali. Although when one considers the time and money into these vintage  cars maybe sane is questionable .  Lol lol lol

CONGRATULATIONS on the win!

A terrific looking Binder and worthy of the award.

When are you going to invite us to your area for a RPRU?

I would not want to go North of South of you, but your area sure looks nice.

A show by you and the crew would be my only reason to come to California.

I have looked into RPRU but keep hitting obstacles as to timing of show , lot of conflict s

you or other IH brothers are welcome out here . With a little time lead I will provide a good get together   and tour around and introduce you to all my redneck tractor brothers out here and good food and wine!

no snowflakes , promise !
