I completely forgot about the little gold mine I can across a few weeks ago..

I met an older gentleman in his 80s and he wanted me to figure out why his Ford 3000 wouldn’t start, it had been sitting awhile.. I ended up getting it going for the man and we we got to talking about tractors and stuff and he mentioned his barn down the street that he worked out of 15 years ago.

he said I was more than welcome to go and check it out and tell him what I think.

the only thing I could think was, is any of this for sale???!!!

It’s an sae-400 welder Occasionally the mans son in law uses the air compressor to fill tire in lawn mower. Other than That the grass is knee high coming into the drive way and it has a paved parking lot with grass on it lol

he owned a construction company 20 yrs ago and sold everything but shop and a few trucks, tools and supplies.

He had vandals about 5 years ago and had an 8ft chain link fence put up around the property

I spy the gates crimper hope you can still buy that style of fittings. That would be handier than a pocket on a shirt

Looks like a Gates PC707. Great hose machine and it will crimp the new style Gates one piece global ends. I have had one for probably close to 40 years (or more) and I make hoses almost every day. I did have to buy updated dies when I changed over to the new global ends, but that has been a long time ago.

The one piece came out after my days at the dealership and yes great machine. Wish I had a dime for every foot of hose I made all those years.

He will not sell building and some things inside like compressor, welder, and basic tools but everything else is for sale. I will be going back to get all the equipment manuals and everything inside the filter room for servicing the equipment he once owned and the parts room full of NOS cat, komatsu, dresser, international, terex, hitachi, and fiat Allis and more parts.
