Looks like the definition of "rich" changed...

Recommended Posts

Did a little reading today about the new possible tax hike and ran across the section who is to be affected.  Was shocked to see that "pass through" businesses will be in the target.  That's a HUGE amount if businesses affected, and especially farms as a lot are structured like that being LLC's, s corps, or partnerships.

So much for just whacking the mean old corporations and rich folks.......which we all know is BS.  You would think they would have the sense not to pile onto businesses after 1 let alone likely another tough year in 2021.

You need to remember who are making those so called 'tax the rich' laws. Sort of like asking the fox how to make a lock for the chicken coop door. Same reason you will never see term limits or line item veto. (poof)

Another step toward the two line tax return:

Line 1 - How much did you make?

Line 2 - Give it to us!

"Rich" is whatever the Communists define it as being.

Did NOT algore once define 'the rich' as being anyone* making over $50K a year.

*(Politicians of BOTH parties (including the RINOS who vote in favor of tax increases), the HollyWierd Elite, and the propagandists of the MEDIA being excepted)

Also what does "Expanding the estate tax's reach" mean????  Doesn't sound good!

They will LOWER the threshhold for it to come into effect.

Another of those "flexible words" if you think about it is in the expression that something is "working".

Used with enthusiasm around the introduction of "a great new revelation in something" and much less frequently in a review of that "something"  in, say, 10 years time

How is Bitcoin any different than the US dollar when the US Dollar is being printed faster than toilet paper? There is nothing backing the US Dollar other than “the word” of government.
And to be honest with you, their word is about as trustworthy as the drug dealer on any street corner.

Double digit inflation is here, we just aren’t being told that it is...

I don't know, sadly I trust the drug dealer on the corner more than our government currently. At least you know he's got product to sell. The government only has empty promises, a willingness to screw you over currently and you have no choice. You don't have to buy from the drug dealer. You have to deal with this current mess.

true ..however the $ or gold piece in your hand,is worth more and FAR HARDER to take by force or caveat division, xyz tax/fee

than are 5 clicks and poof, now use your credits for govt beans and get back to work.

average US citizens dont have said new printed $ in hand, banks treat you like criminals if you do get an appointment.

cant buy anything and use over $5K in cash

wanted to add another person to check writing, endless forms, meetings with specialist and said person  must "swear"

want to be added and responsible . otherwise the bank can just keep it and the $$$$$ in fees to get it released.

too easy to be seized in the "bank"  too easy to be worthless in cash, that is why all the ads for inflated gold/silver in hand.

stop by you can read the forms or be guard as we carry it out.

Buy privately. My son bought a car last week, came to the bank of Dad for cash for the deal.

Check writing—I have other people drive my trucks occasionally. Probably 6 different guys in the last three years. Every one of them has written a check for fuel out of my company account—none are listed and I’ve never gotten a call from the bank.

The advice if you are going to hold gold is to have some in coinage.

Tis a bit wasteful to have to take a hacksaw to get a small piece off your ingot for small trades
