I see Oshkosh defense won the bid . The picture of the new truck is ugly as sin . Kinda like that ugly guy only his mother could love

Those are enough to make even a mother go ewww.  Ernest comes to mind.

With that Anderson bay window in front, those come with a hot climate option? Dual A/C compressors? I think the company should supply Tropicana suntan lotion for the Florida, and west coast driver's too. Lol!

I didn’t know they could find anything slower and more worthless?  Maybe trained snails with baskets on their shells?  That would match the service as of later on the national level. Locally the carriers are great but several days last week the hubs didn’t even deliver. Pretty sad.

It could get worse, though this example is from computers.  A computer crash meant I had to get a new computer.  First Microsoft minefield was "Windows 10 S Mode" which allows only software from the MS store - which mine wasn't.

Currently limping on with MS Mail and wanted to edit an email address - seems to be no way.  Found a promising article on the net and read down to this gem:-

"Try People.  That might help you.

Microsoft has done the impossible.  They've made it worse"

That means my mail will get to me even slower when the batteries die and they are stranded somewhere no where near a charging station.  Unless of course they catch fire first; seems like all high battery powered vehicles have self igniting batteries.

I get the urge to save the planet but I don't see how electric vehicles are going to be the answer.  So when I inherit my dads 1950s tractors in 20ish years I'll either have to look at them or convert them to lithium battery to get them to hum along.

post office better outfit the mail carrier with a crash suit. Can you imagine the shower of glass on the driver when a turkey hits the windshield?

I'm sure there is some rationale for the height of the body, but it sure wasn't aerodynamics. A good crosswind would tip it right over.

Ugh!

Maybe they should worry about getting the mail here on a timely manner rather than spending money on a Jetson wanabe mail truck.

The mail delivery vehicles aren't the problem. The hubs a distribution of it is the problem.
