Are you going to have your Emma Watson dropping the green flag and waving the checkered flag?

I'm not opposed to a little friendly competition among friends but the logistics of the thing seem daunting. I mean you are up east. Me mid west. Then there's the whole Emma thing. All this for what seems pointless to me. The point of weather one tech is faster than another is not really useful. The thing is will the Wago connectors save You time as opposed to your current methods. I know they save me time and frustration and that makes them worth the extra cost for me. YMMV

For those of you who have never seen gold plated electrical terminals and a suitable crimper, attached is a picture.

Those parts cost the company over $1,000.  Those  little awg 24 terminals cost almost $1. each.

You are not going to find  them outside of the high end electrics equipment.IMG_3422.thumb.JPG.929cdde9c8604e9f22791dccb9159dfd.JPG

I used a lot of those pins and sockets back when I had the avionics shop and just used them again when I upgraded my Cessna to glass cockpit and other new avionics. I'd been out of that business for almost 40 years and had left the tooling behind when I sold out. I found some generic crimpers that do the four pin crimp for reasonable money. They do a proper crimp but don't automatically set the position so require care. They're not for production work but when doing less than a 100 crimps it was worth the trouble.

Gold plated are a must with a few exceptions when dealing with avionics.
