At some point it will probably be available to the commoner at which point if they have this under control I won't take it. If it is still taking off I will roll up my sleeve as well. I feel like we are being called to serve do all you can (within reason) and I have been, will continue to do so. In our county we are picking up 15 to 20 cases daily.

Around here most folks are not doing anything if WW2 relied on these folks we would have lost. Come and help us make bullets please, Nope no way you can;t make me I am gonna sit right here on my ass and let somebody else do it. How about making some parachutes nope you are infringing on my rights not to do anything.

I feel there is a difference in your analogy here. Building bullets and parachutes has no long term effects on you. You walk out of the building you are done with it. They inject you. Its part of you until you're 6 foot under. If they get it wrong, they can't extract that and fix it. The greatest game of not me gets played, no one steps up to help the patients that have issues and you are left with your butt hanging in the breeze with you to deal with the rampant on your own.

Picture fail.  Vaccinations, not vacations.  All for those!

Picture likely has the target audience in mind. Those who read what they want it to say, not what it actually says ?

If i started today on a completely new airplane design. New from the ground up. And claimed a year from now that everything is good to go and can carry passengers. Would you put your family on that 1st flight?

This is a slightly different analogy, but shows some amazing things can get done in a hurry.

The prototype NA-73X was rolled out in September 1940, just 102 days after the order had been placed; it first flew on 26 October 1940, 149 days into the contract, an uncommonly short development period, even during the war. (Wiki)

NA-73X was the first prototype for what became the P-51 Mustang. Bear in mind this was pre-computer days, too.

BTW---I'll take the shot.;)

I should clarify I was referring to avoiding crowds entering stores that signs posted on the door requesting a mask without one. Even using a little hand sanitizer won't hurt anything except some peoples pride. No long lasting effects unless you assume that you did your part to slow this crap down. The vaccine is a choice that I will not take lightly there are a lot of unknowns here but if this virus doesn't slow down I will have to.

I try to shop and do business all locally and today was errand day so I am a little tweaked. My main bank I use the one that helped me save this place from FHA has a sign up asking for masks and limits two in the lobby you think they could comply **** no. Local grocery store same way sign says please we are just trying to stay open the list goes on. I know our small communities especially small farm towns are the last to recover from financial crisis, some never do

In my lifetime, there has been no effective vaccine for the common cold (a corona virus) or for seasonal flu (the effectiveness of flu vaccines is very questionable at best).  Uneducated as I am, why should I believe that they can come up with an effective vaccine for a new bug?

Here's what would probably be referred to as an expert.

True but that early Mustang was a low performer with the Allison engine in it and was destined to obscurity until someone came up with the idea to put a Rolls Royce Merlin in it. It took a little work to get to the legend we know. If it was so awesome from the get go, the bloody 1943 raids over Germany would have had escorts. Regensburg/Schwinfurt raid might have been a little less bloody with the Mustang we knew

I'm very impressed with your knowledge of the air war over Europe.

Have you noticed no one wants to discuss if they are going to get the shot or not.

I was in a small town café yesterday and I heard a group of old men talking about about how they are not going to get the shot because they are using baby lungs and baby livers to make the vaccine.  I wanted to interrupt them and say who in the world or where in the world or what in the world have you been reading and you can’t possibly believe that.

amazing what people believe because they read it on the internet .

I've been watching a documentary series on Amazon Prime called First Flights with Neil Armstrong. The series was made in the 1991-1992 timeframe. The episode I watched last night talked about the development of the fighters. The early P-51's didn't have the range to escort the B-17's all the way to their target and as a result, we were loosing 200 planes and 2,000 men A WEEK!! After putting the Merlin in the P-51 they could escort all the way to the target and back.

Baby parts used for vaccines? Ha, what bunch of lemmings to believe that!

Everybody knows the fetal tissue from Planned Parenthood is sold to McDonald’s, jeez that’s as common knowledge as the sun rises in the east.

I’m not interested in getting a COVID shot because I really don’t understand why everyone is going crazy over a disease that seems to have an overall survival rate better than 99%. Yes it is nasty for some more than others; the only person I knew personally that died from it was in his 90’s and in rough shape to start with.

My cousin, 1 day older than me (78) in a nursing home the last 5-6 years tested positive 2 months ago, I figured we were going to lose him but nope, he’s doing fine.

Ran into my Pastor’s wife at the grocery store on Wednesday, both of them plus their 20-something daughter tested positive 3 weeks ago, both sick 3-4 days, daughter nothing, feeling fine now.

I really don’t want to get it but I don’t want the flu either - yet every year my Doctor asks me if I want a flu shot and I say no. Haven’t had the flu in over 25 years.

Why we are going crazy over this I really don’t know. Masks and social distancing seem to have a definite political connection - convince me otherwise if you can.

All of the above is just the opinion of someone diagnosed with Rectal Cancer in October of 2005 and given a 50/50 chance of surviving 2 years.

The money and resources that went into this vaccine. Imagine if they had been applied to conditions much more prevalent.

As numerous doctors advised early on in this giant, never ending Twilight Zone episode, if we had:

* Isolated the high-risk people, made every long-term care giver a millionaire for taking care of them, supplied everyone with immune system education and support (10,000 units of D3, some zinc, some C, and a B complex), and pursued existing remedies ( hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, quercetin, etc.) for people who did suffer from symptoms

* Let everyone else lead their lives without masks, lockdowns, anti-social distancing, curfews, family gathering size limits, etc,

... we would have herd immunity, and the at-risk folks could be socializing with everyone else by now.  We could be enjoying a healthy, growing economy, much lower suicide and divorce rates, many millions more happier, healthier people, kids getting more outdoor and less screen time, and people doing the things that make life worth living.  And we wouldn't have spent but a fraction of what we have.

But none of that happened to fit the narrative.

I saw guys being held up on both sides in the Army for  regular shots they gave us.  Not unusual to pass out from a needle . i worked with a guy who passed out when he bled from wacking his finger or whatever. He knew it was going to happen and he ran to service mgrs office that had carpet on floor and layed down real quick.

Amen!  I am not getting the G-D thing..............nobody in my family is either for that matter.  I am not against vaccinations, but this one, nope.  Rest of you can be the test subjects, I am waiting for these 95% effictive vaccines to cause more damage than this so called "Virus" has...............

....for whatever reason....possibly just being an island the size of Colorado State.....life is sort of  quite normal.  We have overseas sports teams here, and last night at the cricket match against  Pakistan....there was a crowd  in excess of 30,000 folk......nary any social distancing ..in fact just the opposite....However  there are thousands of NZer's     coming back into this country, from all around the world.......and the arrivals have to self isolate for 14 days.....before being let loose back to the community.....as do the visiting  sports teams, of course.....

If indeed there was another  "outbreak''   in the wider community...it would be up in Auckland......NZ's biggest cess- pool of mixed humanity.....thus us hill billies in the South Island would be unaffected....

I’m not getting in line anytime soon, if at all!!! If this so called virus is actually still not under control in 5 years, and no one that took the vaccine lost any limbs, vision, hearing, or their life from it, then maybe, maybe?!?!
My wife was positive for covid the week before thanksgiving, the only thing she had for symptoms and issues, loss of taste and smell, I was around her the whole time, I haven’t had any issues.  It’s just flu strain P.

I've dropped like a rock three times - once from a little blood being drawn, once from watching a baby pig necropsy done by a drug company vet with the heart still beating, and once when I laid three fingers open by one-handing the hedge trimmer.  Every other time that I've bled, I've been able to deal with it.

All three times I dropped like a rock.  The nurse in the video took a while to go down.

Vitamin D deficiency causes a 10 times higher death rate in Covid-19 patients according to recent studies. What we can do to get the Covid-19 pandemic under control and avoid another lockdown.

In an article published in the journal Antiviral Research they explained, "To test the antiviral activity of Ivermectin against SARS-CoV-2, we infect the cells and then add Ivermectin. The supernatant and cell granules were harvested on days 0-3 and analyzed for RNA replication of the new coronavirus. At 24 hours, there was a 93% reduction in viral RNA present in the supernatant (indicative of released virions) of samples treated with Ivermectin."
