Got my new 562xp today, been on order for some time. Has some changes, external clutch, “improved” airflow and intake, and apparently better crank bearings. The brake cover is a different texture, not sure why, not sure i care.

i run mine upside down off/on - was told it helps reduce wear on the bar like rotating tires on a car, not sure if its true but i still do it cause someone told me that and I believed them ( sucker )

Makes a big difference. Everytime i give mine a cleaning I file the edges lightly and flip the bar. Been on the same bar for many many chains

That saw is almost as pretty as my wife, and probably cheaper, but can it keep you warm on a cold winter night?☺️

As long as he's got a wood stove in the dog house, probably yes

Oh sure, they all look good in a nice warm kitchen, but what happens when they go out into the cold weather

OR will this turn into a Stihl joke....................................??

You should NEVER flip your bar over.

The reason being is that if the lettering is inverted the sprocket is then running in backwards rotation.  This is incredibly detrimental to the longevity of the saw because the nose sprocket stator is not charging the Flux Capacitor which can lead to serious ignition problems.  Or a trip to Doc Brown’s Old Tyme Saw Shop!
