In the USA

Thanks Sandhiller. I ordered one from here https://www.stormykromer.com/our-story/

I like the looks of the waxed one also.  Haven’t ordered anything but I may consider it.

Kromer?

I'd have look where it's made when I get home

My go to ear flap cap when it gets down around zero.😱😄

Think I got mine at Young's Western Wear in Valentine.

I have a Stormy Kromer hat and like it.  I run hot, so if I'm wearing it you know it's cold outside.

I have similar issues, my bald dime needs something in the winter but it is super easy to do too much.

That was quick!

I have some that style but not that nice. Probably chinese made and not sure where they're at. I just wanted a cap with ear flaps. I will keep this sight saved though. I'm trying to save sight with USA products. Thanks!

Johnson has been a vermont company for well over 100 years, maybe 2 .their factory store is always worth a visit.

Thanks for affirming Johnson Woolen Mills.  It's been on my list to visit.  Sadly, I only learned about Johnson after visiting The Alchemist, Hunger Mountain Co-op, and The Prohibition Pig a few years ago.

Never washed it or untied it

The ear flap thing that folds down from inside the cap is all I've ever needed

I ordered just a cap with fold sheepskin. Probably imitation.  Seldom get below 20f here and only for a few weeks. The only time I go out is to feed.

I think you will like it.

It is a very comfortable cap and looks good too.

Quality is there also.

I wondering if the wool will repel water. Might need to get a waxed on too. I would like to see the lining.

You will have to look it up but wool keeps you warm even when wet. Not sure how and internet is full of theories pro and con but it is a thing.

I don't want to start anything cuz I cant' back anything up. Some repellancy some magic, I dunno.
