I am looking at swapping out the blown engine out of my td20b. I have tracked down a 466 I know it will fit just trying to trouble shoot before I start. Here are some pictures of one somebody already did any tips would be great guys. I’m not sure about the bell housing and pump placement.

This was a recent topic search for Dirtboyz, don’t think there was a definitive answer yet but exploring the same swap, welcome to RP have you had it long?

I have been reading though the form looking for some information about swapping a DT 429 to a 466. I made a post a while back about a TD-20B that was given to my dad. He has been working on it for quite sometime now and has determined that the crank is bad and he will probably be giving up on the DT 429. From what I have found there is virtually no parts to purchase for this engine.

Is this swap to the 466 a viable thing?

Anybody have a contact that I could talk to about the success rate of swapping this engine?
