Another 86 year round cab

Ill agree with that. 

If it was a 786 i could understand because most of them were open station like ours so a Year A Round could in theory be a upgrade but the rest of the series i think is a step down from the factory cab ( no offense to the poster of this thread)

I think the "taco" tractors were all 4 post ROPS. Dr Evil would know for sure.

I think you are correct. Wouldn’t they have been easier to convert than a machine that already had a cab?  I wasn’t aware you could buy an open station 86 series other than a 786?

I saw a 9110 advertised several years ago, with a scraper, that was a 4 post. Didn't look like the cab with windows and door removed. It had 4 bigger posts. Now I wish that I would have saved the ad

I wonder what the price difference between the Year-a-round cab and the IH cab was? Here is an old topic that talks about the ROPS options on 86 series.
