I understand your request and why. I understand the forum rules. We are making history today in this country whichever the outcome. Many/most DO want/need to discuss. I have many ostrich customers whom I feel are being apathetic. We need to wake up, not sleep through this. Our grandchildren depend on us. This is the best I can offer at this time. 9
cedar farm 766
Both comment and tractor are beautiful. Just got done a month ago going thru a trans job and under haul on a WD45. Hopefully a paint job down the road. It's an early one like yours with the weaker 3 bolt axle support. Nothing snappier than an Allis 226 governor. Bought a "driven to church on Sunday" 66 All-Crop from a neighbor. Hope to try it on beans next fall. But if this thing goes the wrong way I won't be able to afford gas for it.
ChrisNY 869
Or better yet, if you don't want to read political threads just skip them. That is the great thing about forums like this, if topic does not interest you don't click on it. Has worked for me for years.

I meant really that it's all anyone is going to talk about, and I'd like to read about something additionally.

jingles1928 800
That sounds like marital advice from MTO?. 5 minutes ago, KWRB said: I buy my wife a new vacuum cleaner every time I buy a new (*old) tractor. That usually quiets her down.

He purchased the used JD when he came home. He said that was enough to make him go red. According to him it was a “60 or 66”. They did a lot of clover and small seeded things for neighbors. Most went into the Chevy truck in the second pic.

mike newman 2,698
KWRB.....please accept a couple of pics.....this to take your mind away...albeit briefly from ostrich's.....Allis Chalmers tractors and the pending celebrations of a returning Republican regime....(I hope...) Our sheds in New Zealand ...mainly....are hideous structures from the aesthetic point of view......no gloriously beautiful barns ....the like of which I always enjoyed seeing on my travels in your great country......so my sheds were adorned with roses......or wisteria...pictured is the wisteria on the shed......The white wisteria was .in front of our home on that property......however, since my Brother brought the place, he is not big on flowering plants....(sadly)..thus the place now resembles more of a desert ..than when we owned it....The other picture is of a Nash.......my advice to you is never buy a Nash.....(You have to have a few years on the clock of life to even remember that Marque...).. This is an older picture..(obviously....)..my hunting mate and I were hammering down this side road...probably hitting 20 miles per hour.....the Nash lights were not to bright..thus we plowed into that fallen radiata pine, blown across the road.... Neither of us got hurt....how I don't know....but my long departed Dad was not amused......I told him the lights were no bloody good.....he said ""You were going to fast...that is the issue here...."". 2
