g-man,  That is a great video.  I was involved with those machines for over twenty years back then and never had the opportunity to go through the process of shoe replacement.  Your video should be great help to someone needing to do the repair.

You give me to much credit. It's not my video. It's by a guy named Salam Sayhood. He did a whole series on rehabing a TD7C. I forget where I saw them now but I saved the address for that one because I thought it was  so good.

Thanks for y'alls help I've watched the video till I dream about it now, got it all back together according to specs, it's running great, everything is working good but I've gotta go thru everything pre maintenance wise and check it out good, minus a fuel cap, gotta find one those a little cheaper than what's on ebay
