Don't let the USDA see that. They will call it a bumper crop and the price will go back down.

Those are some outstanding ears.  Not really familiar with your part of the country.  I think we average 50 some inches of rain a year where we are at.  I'm guessing you are drier then that?  Is that irrigated corn?

 I have 1366 and 1572 under pivots that looks like that too,ears shoulder high or more, phenomenal. Dryland corn as low as 12% moisture around here and irrigated corn in the upper teens to low twenties already. The wind is blowing and there is a slight chance of rain today and the fire whistle just blew, yikes.

Dang those are some nice ears, how thick do you plant?

i am guessing irrigated,I have shelled some that hit 230 but never averaged anything close to that. 
 

307 at 4$ should buy you a couple nice diving trips.
