brahamfireman
What happens in the cab, does the lever move, does it grind at all? Might have to adjust cable to get more throw at trans.
TB5288
I have a 1680 that does the same thing at times. You need to move the shift mechanism by the transmission by hand. Can't remember exactly what to do but it's fairly simple.
neukm
Make sure both cables are free and not binding. One cable engages the shift forks and the other one switches the gates from one side to the other

Larry Beard
What if it clean. We can shift it without the linkage. Is there a secret to adjusting the linkage.
