I do not think there is another large verity collection of Classic, perfect, well preserved I.H. tractors working a farm today.

Love seeing your farm pictures.  I especially like the Black stripe beauties , my favorite is the Black stripe 1466 , I hope some day to have one in my shed.

Well need to get them all out someday cause dad’s Super M is missing (his 986 and 884 pictured) BIL’s 186 hydro, and my 1066, 544, 1256 project, and 1460.  1256 is getting a few more final leaks fixed, paint, and then pictures on RPF (hopefully before December!).

I have found the white duals must have been a regional thing.  MANY tractors “here” were sold with dual wheels and hubs manufactured by DMI in Goodfield IL,  The same company that built tillage equipment.  I assume it must have been cheaper than the IH factory equipment and they were just down the road so dealers had easy access to them when needed.  So, IH duals were red, aftermarket duals were white. We had both.
  The tires on the 1566 are 30.5 x 32’s.

Same here farther South in Illinois. Grandpa told me when he bought the 1086 new in 78’ that they didn’t have any red duals but they had these DMI duals. Been on there ever since it was new. They are original to this tractor so they will stay white.

Speaking of DMI stuff i used to love pulling ecolotigers. They made a soil saver look silly.

I know for you guys it's your living and your hobby and your job all rolled up into one, but looking at the pictures since last January my hat is is off too all of you.

And I'm not saying this so we all jump in and have warm showers together, but everyone seems to think food comes from a supermarket, and I as a non farmer type knows what really goes on from the dirt to the table, good stuff.

I would say they aren't necessarily the same tool...............Some day I am going to own a DMI auto reset plow, just because its about the only brand I haven't had and I want one.

On the white dual wheels, seems that back when all the farming was done with these classics, there were way more white ones than red ones in central Iowa where I grew up. Now in NW Iowa, don't see many white ones, more red. Of course most classics don't even get the duals on at all anymore.

Well, young     Welkerfarm fan.....the above pictures illustrate  my ineptitude   with computors as well as.....

.......some of us  have different bits and pieces    of equipment.....with which various farm related  jobs are undertaken.....

........we give then rides on a barge   ....

........we use the excavator to load quarry run  ....a product which is used on the farm tracks below..in the picture.....

.....we have a small tractor . used   to tow home General Motors    products ..that suffer mechanical failure.....

...we light up the old TD9  , when the ridge roads are to muddy for the 4x4    wheel tractors....

......and some classic    American products just keep giving...thus the old Caterpillar  still does root raking  for us.....

...There you go !!!
