Vermont plate?

They didn’t pre-drill the hole in the 2x6 and it split....  no way it would be rated for larger than 1-7/8” ball. 
 

To be serious, it does make me wonder how they connected it to the car underneath 🤔. Probably finish nails.

That tow package is available at your local big box home improvement center. And the best part it doesn’t have max tow rating.
