Front weights

Made a new weight bracket for my diesel today.  Old bracket held 10 weights with no retention.....they hopped and bounced on rough ground. (First 2 pics are old one.....)

New bracket holds 12 weights, bracket is bolted to tractor frame, and weights were all drilled and tapped for 1/4" bolts to keep everything solid.

Needs paint and weights could stand a touch up coat as well.

Thanks......actually a 1572.....with a turbo, but it looks better as a 782DT "Super".   Black frame is my "twist" on red Cub Cadets.

Nice.  If I want front weights I add a snow blade.  That makes it heavy enough, haha.  They can be fun to turn on their own even without front weights.  When I took the snowblade off the 147 in the spring I couldn't believe how much easier it steered, and I've done the steering upgrade (thrust bearing/washer mod).
