My sweetheart bought a new 687 grade 3 Silver Pigeon in 20GA with 28" barrels for my birthday on Friday.   She and my operations director at work were in cahoots on this one and he advised her well.  :)

She surprised me with it Friday and then I had to try it out on Saturday.   It shoots like a Beretta :)

My best friend recently passed.

His gun auction is this Saturday, April 24th, 2021.

Here is the listing of the scatter guns and more.

All good quality and mostly older guns.

I get no money from this sale.

I lucked out at Walmart the other day.  They normally only let you buy three boxes that day they said no limit.

I'm really not a hoarder but I haven't been able to buy shot shells for some time so yeah I took advantage when I had the chance.  I was really grateful to find some 20's

Glad to hear. The last time I've been in Walmart here they did't have any ammo.   Only thing they has gun related was targets and cleaning stuff.

...sweet shooter.....little brother to the 12 ga. Red Label

This is kind of a fuzzy memory but weren't the original Red Labels 20 gauge? Didn't think the 12's came along til later.

Correct.  I bought a blued fixed choke early model in 20 ga....1979 production from B.B.    It sits nicely beside the 12 gauge stainless interchangeable choke Red Label from the late 80s in the gun cabinet.

Not new but on topic, stoeger 12g coach gun, great side by side, the breda that I mentioned earlier is european so it has a funny fussy way of loading and shooting, I finally found a download that walked me through the process. My first 12g was a wingmaster I bought in '74 for 75.00, one of the aforemention liberal scare buy guns was an 1100 12g wood with wood, I rebarreled it to 18" and put a collapsible shoulder stock on plus a pistol front slide/grip, extended mag and six round side plate, just a fun gun with a defense shoulder strap.

The fish and game club I belong too had a yearly three gun giveaway and I didnt need a handgun or a hunting rifle so I bought 50.00 worth of tickets for the 12g mossberg, I won.

Ive got a few more but ive worn my time out so who is next.

Sorry it's gun related but not a shotgun

My grandfather passed away when I was 4 1/2 . About 8 years later they were cleaning up things and there was a shotgun and a 22 in what they called the egg kitchen. They were both very rusted . My cousin got them as they were the only ones that really did any hunting or shooting at the time. Bruce said they demolished the shotgun and was going to do the same to the 22 until they looked in the barrel and saw it was brand new inside even though it was really rusted outside. He ended up filing the rust off , making a new stock and re-blued it. It was offered to me last week and I said it might as well go to my oldest boy as he has his grandfather's 22/410 (from his mom's dad) . Tag was stapled to the stock when it was rescued. Still has rusty staple in the tag . It needs a rear sight to complete it.

Original price ..... 19.50

Value now to us ..... Priceless
