RPRU 2020...a few pics

Recommended Posts

Hopefully we will be ready to go. Unfortunately, at this point, we didn’t have any 86 series show up besides the 4386. Also, no black stripe 66 series. But, we did have 3 3488 Hydros, several 50 series, and several other Hydro tractors show up. We may have a few more show up tomorrow.

What's the story with the yellow 3488? I don't know if I've ever seen a yellow IH of that era...

IIRC, the sign on it said that it was ordered that way for a municipality in Quebec, Canada who specified that color. (Notice the windshield wipers for the side doors). I assume it was used for snow removal?

Thanks for taking the time to share pictures with us. I love the 37 on the pull type combine.

The show is shaping up nicely!  Will be lots of neat exhibits to study closer tomorrow.   Tractor pull was entertaining this evening.

Yes, Randy’s display is beyond perfection. For some reason, I didn’t take any pictures of either Golden Jubilee 1957 IH pickups...there are 2 of them there. Also, they came up with a nice crawler/TracTracTor display...probably a half-dozen of them or more. Also was a very nice Fast Hitch implements display that I didn’t take pictures of, either.

Stop by to watch our video playing in our display. It explains the Gold Demo program and a tribute to small farm/small town America.

So, what's the serial number on the H? The clamp is right over the number.

plus a picture of it? that is quite a list of differences.

Many many thanks for the pictures! It helps (some) ease the pain of missing this roundup.

The foreign tractors from Farmall land are different.

I especially like exhibits like the combine with the white cab (503?) with the straw chopper attachment on the back. Well preserved, and a real slice of history.

I would love to find a poster of the "watch out for the red and gold demonstrators" that's on the back wall behind the gold tractors, that is pretty cool!
