NIX RPRU For Me

Recommended Posts

NIX Red Power, for me this year.  My wife took a nasty tumble yesterday, broken shoulder, dislocated shoulder, head trauma, face looks like I took a ball bat to her.  Will be talking to Orthopedic Surgeon and Physical Therapist today.  Looks like I'll be playing nurse maid and driving miss daisy, for a few weeks. I hate missing a Round Up. Safe travels, to all my Red Power friends. This year has been a real s**t show.  BK.

I'm sorry to hear that. I was kinda thinking I wanted to go, but won't be able to, either...

12ish yrs ago, my wife was grabbing our barncoats off the basement stairwell, misstepped and all I heard from upstairs was screaming/crashing then silence.

I found her on the cement basement floor unconscious in a pool of blood.

No cell signal in basement so ran upstairs and called 911.

She was coming to when I returned.

Fractured skull, fractured nasal bones, fractured cheekbones.

She spent a week in PGH hospital and a month in bed at home needing meds every four hours.

I understand your $hit show comment.

Tell her we send our best wishes Bill!

Some years are like that. We had ours last year. This year is looking much better. Keep your chin up and take care of the missus. Tractors will be around next year still...

Sorry for your wife's misfortune. Prayers for healing well without any more complications. Not many people put as much effort as you do at seeing 110% of everything at Redpower Roundup every year like you do. Your pictorial index of the happenings at Huron will be missed
