Sometimes I feel smarter than the Jeopardy contestants!

Recommended Posts

The question was about a book/movie featuring a Gopher on the cover and the line “the making of a true Hollywood Cinderella Story” (I don’t remember exactly how was worded)

2 contestants stood there with blank stares, the third rang in and then didn’t have a single answer.

Im standing up yelling at the TV “IT’S FRI&&ING CADDYSHACK!!!!!” But it didn’t help...

i don’t know where these people got educated... but they should get their money back.

maybe I should go on Jeopardy ?

And how did they do??

comedy and rock questions seem to stump a lot of them.

The answer to the $400 question in “Paradise By” was Meatloaf. Imagine that....

And then they have questions about European art and stuff that hardly anybody should know. But, still, they know that but don't know Caddyshack?

I do pretty well with a mind filled with useless trivia, EXCEPT when it comes to English Lit and European art. Having never had an art appreciation class and finding the former a bit boring I fail at those questions.

You might surprise the world if you ran into the right categories like ,Electricity, Guns, and Tractors. I surprise myself every once in a while. But not so good at movies, literature, art,or movie stars.

im not sure those subjects are allowed on Jeopardy.. too much fun, mostly the crap everyone fell asleep to in history class.

It does get interesting when they do have a question any country boy would know ? and the trivia/book learning crowd just stand there with a blank look, even after the answer is give.

Seth, are you sure that JHC made meatloaf?  I can see why Mark questioned you.....

I remember water to wine, and breaking a loaf of bread to feed 100’s if not thousands..., but I don’t recall anything about meatloaf?

Yeah, I know who Meatloaf is.

They play that miserable Paradise song constantly on one PGH station which is why I turned the station to rap.
