Loyalsock antique machinery show

As far as I know it's still on. New location though as they lost the lease at the sportsman grounds . Rt 14 something like 4-5 miles north of 15 above Williamsport. Last two days of July and August 1+2 I think

With all the covid crap back in the mess, I don't see it happening.  We are retarping our sled tomorrow for winter, I don't see it being used this year.  Between mask issues and social distance nonsense, it is just to difficult.

Theres literally nothing around here going on, probably would consider the 2 hour trek if this event stayed on.

Last Sunday at the chapter meeting this was announced to be still going on by someone heavily involved. If I hear anything different I will update this thread

I was there tonight. Hopefully make it back tomorrow night. Pull starting at 10 tomorrow morning. I tried to drive the 4366 there tonight but I lost all brakes going down a steep hill 4 miles from home .....now it needs brakes and a new seat . I gently drove it home and took the truck

Do they have enough room?  Don't know anyone who was there yet as of noon today.  Don't have my phone after that, but didn't get anything when I just looked.

It's hard to tell how much room it is compared to the sportsman grounds but it seems like there are shade trees throughout the place more as it was a trailer park that was bought by FEMA to eliminate the homes in a flood plain. Pulling track might be slightly smaller? Parking seemed adequate, was plenty of vehicles so I will guess it's enough area as people seemed spread out. Appeared to be campers everywhere

Think we are gonna wander up today.  Looks like rain will hold off and its gonna cloud up so it's not so darn hot.

Sorry about your experience, you share similiar luck with me, except any extracurricular tractor activities I partake in result in tire troubles

I'll see how late we stay, but doubt it will be till 6 with the kids with us.  Just pulled in now and can say it's a pretty good turnout!

BTW, man you guys are dry up this way, I though we had it bad :(

Yes we are extremely dry, hilltops are really bad in areas. They got more rain at the show area than we had in recent storms .

I didn't get many pictures of the show .... I certainly won't be able to fill in for Brady Boy in the photo documentation division of a show but I will slowly try and get some uploaded .

I can see why it was allowed, there’s no one there! Just kidding. Kinda weird not seeing many people in your pictures though. Glad something was allowed this year. Nice pictures!

It was after the tractor pull when I took most of the pictures and things had cleared out of that area. The food area was long lines at this time. I think stuff was spaced-out fairly decent so that people weren't crammed together

That is the exciter.  I am not certain, but I believe it's purpose is to provide a charge to "excite" the main generator's field coil.
