Tj01
Well I’m a Allis man at heart and it’s showing. I figured I would show my new project off since I’ve showed everything else. This is my 1949 G that I just bought couple weeks ago. Had to rebuild carb and changed the oil. Luckily I haven’t had to do anything else. Got a couple more projects to finish before I can start the repaint process but hopefully that will be soon
DT Fan
Came with a front weight, man you have all the luck! Pretty good looking little tractor, they sure have a cult following.
KWRB
I like the AC G's. There are a LOT of these things in my neck of the woods. They use/used them on the muck farms where flotation is an issue. I always thought they were cool because they were so unique.
exSW
Neat machines. A design that is still in use in commercial production.

Tj01
Today me and Brody put the first coat of orange on the G . All we like is putting another coat on it and painting the black and silver and putting decals on.

mike newman
...we used to have the ubiquitous Allis G..in our tobacco days........this one, pictured on the "transporter" ready to go to another block......has Ferguson rims etc on the Allis center rear wheels ....and in all the years it was used......never broke a rear axle.....amazing actually Mike
Tj01
I was thinking either wd45 diesel or a unstyled wc or a d series
DT Fan
Tj, a 45 diesel would make a cool project just be warned the engines have some unique, (expensive) challenges.
iowaboy1965
Nice looking group of tractors. Always thought the g was kinda cute. Not sure how useful 1 would be for me tho. Think i read some used to put loaders on them and use em to clean out poultry buildings? Kinda the 50s version of a skid loader maybe.
