I'm Tired of Negativity! Picture Time

Recommended Posts

I am really tired of all the junk going on. Here are some random pictures from our farm. Enjoy all the INTERNATIONALS and just smile, even if only for a minute. I have 20 pictures to share, so will have to load more than once.

Got them all loaded at once! I must be getting better, holy cow. Anyway, one more comment, they are all 14's except the one 1566 with the knobby fronts (Cruella) and the 1568 (Ethel) is in the picture of five in row. And obviously the 5288 is in a few. Oh and one with the 826.

Man those are some fine looking tractors and farming operation.   Where are you located?   IH should have taken their photo shoots at your place.  Also I have never seen IH photos that the tractors had enough tires or weights that were customary in the fields.  You always had to order tractors with optional tire sizes if you wanted them to perform well.

What's the story on those diamond tread tires on the 66? What kind of rims did you need, and do they wear the front end noticably more than a regular ribbed tire?

I see in one picture all hooked to Meyers forage wagons, only a couple of miles from factory, still a family run business and friendly guys, nice for us when it comes to parts, we rolled a 22 foot box last fall from a custom guy, nice being close to factory for repairs.

Nice pics Matt!

Yesterday I saw a guy cutting hay with a 1086, I just sat and watched him for awhile. Got my head cleared up!

We put those rims together ourselves. They are 15 inches wide. Tires are 18.4 x 16.1's. Contrary to what a lot of people think, the large tires are way less stress on the axle than the smaller ones. We only run about 8 pounds of pressure in them. They have a lot more give which is a lot less axle stress. They do not wear funny at all.

I remember years ago one of the biker rags had a section called biker porn (no not that) guys would send their pics in and have them run in the rag every month, no internet so you had to buy magazines to see other rides.
