Eh, think poisonous have triangular head. Others not. Never heard bodies differ, dunno. I treat ALL as poisonous.

Not true. Viperids normally have a triangular head while elapids (like a Coral Snake) normally don't.

I'm sure  wife's  concerns will be calmed when I share your vermontonian wisdom with her.

Just tell her to calm down. That works every time!

Come on Mark, don't be a sissy.  Get a pair of tongs out of the kitchen, you know, the ones you roll the brauts over with on the grill. Get your ladder and have your wife on the ground with a feed sack to catch it when you drop it, then do what you want with it. You could even make brauts out of him. What could possibly go wrong ?

Don't forget to set up the video cam first!

Everybody`s a freakin comedian.

Here I am asking for ways to rid house of a snake and......well..... nevermind.

I even made the effort at 1am to get my digital camera and get a better pic for you clowns.

And if you look close, he is SMILING at me!

Why do I even bother.....sniff.

And this am, he is MIA.

Maybe in the snakes belly?

Wadda ya mean this AM? You haven't caught it yet? What's wrong with you? Letting your wife stay in a house with 2 snakes in it, one in the soffit and the one she married?? Come on ,get that cam set up, this should be a real  ? show!

Yea and I bet the wife thinks your primary job is to get the snake.......before she hits the other one with a cast iron skillet! Then you'll be out shopping for skillets made out of feathers?

You keep referring to the snake as he, had female markings if you ask me and they do like to get up high to lay their eggs.

I've got a few black snakes around my house, doesn't bother me much as I'm sure they help keep rodents under control. It is pretty impressive how they can travel vertically. The biggest one was around six feet. The little one was a little spunky.
