Ive always thought the white 94 series case tractors with the orange rims were really slick looking. I believe that belongs to Lorenzo. Nice for sure! 2
cgage 46
The streamlined and fleetline Olivers: 60, 70, old style 88 and the fleetline 66, 77, and 88. The letter series Farmalls are my favorite IH styling and pretty close on style to the Olivers.

IH OAK 70
Hi I'm back. I think that the best looking 2+2s were the super 70s. No question. Problem is I can't find one with triples. When it comes to 4WDs things kinda get hard. I lean more towards the 7788s. Wish They had put tracks on those! but the Steiger Cougar (I am sort of confused right now might be a Panther)looks good to. And even though this is a IH forum.... Also here are some other tractors that rank high with me. While I was looking for these I came across some weird stuff. The twin Panther Looks interesting and I wish they hadn't dismantled it. What happened to the triple Cougar? I read a long time ago that it had great ground-holding. I know it is a JD but if anybody finds it for sale I want it! Is this guy going to a pull? Looks like a sled on the back. Glad this didn't go into production. I have two brothers that are pilots. I think it looks kinda like a DC-3(?)

Agreed 100% and the 73, 75, and 7788 were real cool looking also. That first pic of the 7288 belonged to the late Darius Harms I believe, he was in Illinois. You found a lot of neat and interesting pictures in that bunch. There is a pic out there I’ve seen of one of the 73, 75, or 7788 brand new sitting in a lot at the Steiger Plant in Fargo, ND in Dec. 1981 but I can’t find it unfortunately. height 14
My 1975, true black stripe 1066, purchased brand new by my grandfather. Just completed about a year and a half restoration done by the same guys that restored and painted Tony's 1206.
MacAR 70
Honestly, I always thought the '86 series looked classier than any of the others. But, a first or second year 706 gas narrow front is on my must have list. They just look so good, especially with the fenders pulled off and a snout full of weights. Same for a 656. My all around pick though has to go to the x00/x50 series. I mean, how can you not like them when they look like this: Class, elegance, and refinement all rolled into one sleek, gas guzzling package! I admit to being slightly biased, though. I like all the off-sets too, but Cubs have a special place in my heart: Can't explain it really. They just make me happy. Don’t know about big jack but the newer double panther in the picture was being run by a cousin of my dads. Virgil Weist. I think he is still alive out in Yakima the big jack was being field tested by Jamestown I would bet he was in on that testing in the field also.

Danny The ONE most important thing I've taken from reading all 4 pages of this topic is, If you have an IH, KEEP IT. Don't sell it, you will regret it. Just keep building more sheds to store them in. 3
