Question for you 5X88 series guys. What are you doing to build up / repair the range shift gates? Have one in shop and low / reverse gate is wore out as well as shoulder bolt and pivot hole at bottom of lever. High / medium could stand a bit of repair also. At arm where linkage connects I have about 3/4 inch of lost motion.  Dowel pin that engages in gates actually looks and measures good.

I think on my 54 I got a new shoulder bolt from caseih, and that pivot bushing I measured and got one from McMaster Carr.   What CaseIH gets for bushings is outrageous

We have had two break the shoulder bolt off last one was last spring, my parts guy at the local caseih dealer found me one and it was at another dealer on the shelf he said it was the only new one in the country and case didnt know when the next time they would have any. i have a used one saved if n when it happens again but i kept this last one to do some r and d on it of my own.Everything else was in good shape i dont know if it helps but i put anti seize on the bolt before i put it back in
