I know it’s not IH, but still a heck of an upgrade over the piece of junk I was using. This came from my dad, he upgraded to a newer model with some additional attachments. This is a 1986 model, dad got it in the early 1990’s, and I spent lots of time on it as a kid. I had to take a second and remember how everything works, I don’t think I had run it in 20 years before this afternoon. It definitely runs as well as it looks, dad has taken really awesome care of it over the years.

Nice.  It looks awfully clean for the age.  Do those older deisels start easy and burn clean?

You have to glow it 30 to 60 sec depending on the temperature and it pops right off. It smokes a bit when you engage the PTO, then clears right up. I know dad has had no complaints about the motor.

I believe that tractor should have a 3 cylinder D600 engine in it. This would be the same engine as in the 782 diesel Cub Cadet. I have 2 of them and the engines are great.
