jeeper61 Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 Can't do it this year but when I retire in 26 I will be spending a whole winter there regardless of the snow pack. If it's a bad year we just park at the road and take the sled in and out 5 Quote

Roossinck Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 I'm a big fan of black and white photography. Here's one of my favorite photos I took at this past year's Midwest Winter Nationals in Shipshewana. Darren Bommer's IPL 510 Hot Farm, I believe. 8 Quote

We have electric cars, wind turbines, solar panel fields, def fluid, SpaceX rockets. NO, your right.....I thought we would far more advanced by now too! 1 1 Quote

We have all of this fancy electronic, tree hugging garbage made in China that doesn't last long enough to justify the garbage it's made out of. We can have all of this high tech garbage, but we can't make it last, kind of disgusting to me. 2 Quote
Pete1468 Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 I can't take credit for this, my son took it tonight. He had just finished working up my daughter's horse arena with my 806. 8 Quote

Sure alot of advancements, but if you told NASA in 1969 that we would not be on some sort of Innerstellar mission by 2024 they would never believe it. Now let me say, I don't care. We got more than we need and half the time some discovery seems like just a fresh interpretation of what we knew. Besides why not just keep this place up not goto a frozen/burning red rock 5 years away?🤷🏼♂️ Quote
